Newly Discovered National Bank Note Fetches $250,000 at Auction

The first note issued by the First National Bank of Rhyolite broke the $100,000 barrier at the Lyn Knight Auction sale on November 20, 2015. This 1902 $10 note opened at $60,000 and proceeded in an increment of $5000 bids from floor and internet participants till was bought for a whopping $258,500. The note was discovered recently with a blue seal and Treasury signatures by Vernon and Treat. Knight has graded the note as Very Fine/Extremely Fine.Latest News
